Performance Plan Task

Note

Use the Goals Menu before completing the Performance Plan Task if you:

  • Want to copy employees’ previous goals to the current performance cycle (April 1, 2024 – March 31, 2025).

  • Need to assign goals to more than one person.

  • Want to copy another employee’s goal and assign it to a different employee.

  • Would like to collaborate with the employee.

Managers will be assigned the Performance Planning Task and a notification email will be sent automatically from Carolina Talent. Managers have 60 days to complete [PLACEHOLDER FOR POLICY].

  • Managers can launch the task from the Carolina Talent email or directly within Carolina Talent’s Homepage ‘Pending Performance Document Task’ menu.

  • To launch the task, click on the Performance document task name.

  • Goals created in the Performance Plan task will not be visible to the employee or in the Goals menu until the employee acknowledges the plan.

  • Use the Goals menu (Performance > Goals) if you need to make the goals visible to the employee right away, collaborate on goals, set team goals or copy/advance previously entered goals.

  • If Goals are not created in the Performance Plan task, the task status will remain incomplete.
