Navigating Through Carolina Talent Performance
This guide helps you navigate key features in Carolina Talent Performance, including how to access your homepage, review pending performance tasks, and manage goals and documents.

Homepage Navigation
The Welcome or Home page is your starting point in Carolina Talent. From here, you can access Performance, Learning, My Action Items, and your Pending Performance Document Tasks.
Use the header menu to navigate through Carolina Talent Performance from anywhere on the site.
To return to your dashboard, hover over Home and select Welcome, or click the Carolina Talent logo at the top left.
Access your Profile/Team anytime using the navigation menu.
View/Launch your pending performance task directly from the Pending Performance Document Task widget. ( A maximum of seven tasks will display in this section.)
Hover over the header to select from the navigation menu.
Performance Homepage
Go to Performance → Performance Homepage
The Performance Homepage is your central hub for managing all things related to performance. From here, you can access your pending tasks by clicking the Performance Documents icon, view your active goals, review historical documents, and more.
To check for any pending tasks – go to the Performance Management Home page. The Pending Performance Document Tasks widget displays up to ten tasks at a time. To view all tasks, select Performance → Performance Documents for the complete list.
Goals Menu
Go to Performance → Goals
From the Performance menu, select Goals to view your goals, create new ones, or update existing goals. You can also view your team’s goals if you are a manager.
The Goals Menu is where you can view, create, and manage performance goals for yourself and your team. From this page, you can:
View My Goals: See all active and completed goals you’ve set or that your manager has assigned to you.
Create a Goal: Add new goals aligned with departmental or organizational priorities.
Team Goals (Managers Only): View, edit, and track goals for your direct reports.
Goal History - Review past goals and status updates from previous performance cycles.
If you have no goals listed, your Goals page may be blank until you or your manager create a goal.
