Goals are used to identify and formalize the achievements that you want to accomplish during the performance cycle. Goals help you to maintain focus on the correct priorities, and they allow you to track your progress towards the completion of those priorities. Each performance cycle, employees should have 3 to 5 individual goals in Carolina Talent.

These goals are meant to be dynamic and reflect current priorities and strategic goals. It is expected that an employee would not necessarily have all of the same individual goals from performance cycle to performance cycle.
